Addie: Мила, I also heard about Velocity. From what I know from someone else, the shootings took place in several countries. The character played by Elena owns a Formula 1 team, or her father owns it... I don't remember very well. And her father in the movie has connections to the underworld. Anyway, she steals his money and she invests it in the team, and she falls in love with the driver. This is the plot in a few words, but I can't guarantee things are this way. I was told the story a long time ago...

His team is owned by a racing legend but is struggling to remain competitive against the deep-pocketed manufacturer teams. They search for money from new sponsors to no avail until someone approaches them and buys the team. The new team owner, Anna Zykov, is an intelligent and well prepared beautiful young woman who's father owns the Russian oil company, Venture Petroleum. Her arrival boosts the team in the MotoGP standings and Anna and Lance become a hot and glamorous couple within the paddock and out of it. Totally unbeknownst to Anna, her father also happens to be the head of the Russian Mafia. When he is arrested and all of his assets are frozen, Anna, Lance and his brother, Cameron, go to Moscow to "borrow" the cash out of her father's safe to keep the team going. Although racing motorcycles at the highest level in the world is a big part of the story, "Velocity" is much more than just a movie about the MotoGP scene. "VELOCITY" is the first dramatic feature film to be allowed inside the world of MotoGP racing . Addie: I think the film exists, otherwise they wouldn't have written about it on imdb. Жук , sorry, but I didn't quite understand what you mean. Did you ask if imdb is similar to ruskino?

Addie: I think imdb is international, because they have info about movies from any country, though everything is in English. It's somehow interactive, because the summaries are made by users or members. It resembles ruskino in that it offers a summary, details about the actors, the director, the location, etc., but it's more complex. The address is www.imdb.com, if you want to check it for yourselves. As for the interviews, I noticed that the reporters only speak or ask about BN(as if she only played in that movie), about Lena's beauty and keeping in shape and about her private life(and she tries to evade the subject).

Вы имеете в виду иностранные интервью или интервью в русскоязычных изданиях? То, что касается наших изданий, я все читал. Возможно ли, что информация на www.imdb.com давняя, а в настоящем времени - что с этим фильмом, вышел ли он на экраны, есть ли там Лена. Вот это очень хочется узнать. Жаль, нет связи с кем-либо из жувущих в Великобритании. Addie вы не думайте, что я спорю с вами. Просто настораживает в заметке то, что ее имени нет.
Addie: Григорий, about your first question, I meant Russian interviews. I haven't read any foreign interviews. And in my country they are too preocupied with promoting chicks who look good and have no brains , so... I'm not saying that they talk 100% about the things I mentioned, but 80% they do. I was bored by how many times they asked why Lena changed her hair color. And now she's blonde again, they hang to the Maxim photos. As for the other thing, about the movie, I don't know. I think I read right on this site something connected to Velocity. I guess we have to wait and see. Judging from the many locations, it might be a series. Maybe they interrupted the shootings. And don't worry, people can have different opinions.

Тему эту я исследовала примерно 3 месяца назад и ничего нового не нашла :( Даже наоборот, с некоторых сайтов из информации о фильме многое убрали, в том числе и имя Елены Кориковой. Нет, не вышел. Дату его выхода переносили уже несколько раз. Изначально, на большие экраны Европы "Velocity" должен был выйти уже весной 2007. На некоторых сайтах (наподобие Рускино) фильм был добавлен в фильмографию Елены, но русская пресса ни разу ничего об этом не упоминала. Все, что я находила о фильме (2-3 статьи) - это было в прессе иностранной. Справедливости ради, прошу заметить, что информацию о том, что Елена снимается в "Velocity", я взяла с imdb.com и нескольких других (довольно респектабельных) сайтов. Все упоминания о фильме в иностранной прессе говорили лишь о том, какой выйдет захватывающий фильм, но имя Кориковой там не упоминалось. Вот тут еще в январе я разместила точный перевод странички с imdb.com Теперь же на imdb.com имя Елены убраны из списка актеров :( Но раньше оно там было. Сами решайте, как это все понимать. Personally, I admire Lena first and foremost because she came to Moscow and made it on her own, and now she stands where she stands, and secondly for raising her son without the father's help. I believe that says very much about her as a person.

Мила: Кука скорее всего так и есть. Это не первая роль, с которой ее снимают после утверждения. Видимо, какой-то негласный запрет не снимать ее существует. Я смотрела недавно фильм про Владимира Басова, так там говорили, что после того, как его жена Фатеева ушла от него, он звонил на все студии и буквально требовал не снимать ее. Ее и не снимали. Возможно, с Леной та же история. Вот и приходится в журналах сниматься.
Жук: А я обрадовалась, думала новая информация об этом фильме появилась. Так и есть, нет Лены в этом фильме, раз убрали ее имя ото всюду. Жаль, очень жаль.
