Addie: The dove winged her peaceful way

blondy: Addie пишет: The dove winged her peaceful way Oh, how interesting Love the idea Even though it's dark, it carries positive energy and it looks so serene and calm I like the effects you used for dove and Lena ...what is it called?

Зара: Addie пишет: The dove winged her peaceful way Замечательная идея, хорошее сочетание!

Анечка-27: Addie пишет: The dove winged her peaceful way Люблю это фото и коллаж замечателен

Finist: Addie мне нравится коллаж!

Addie: I have got down to work, as I promised. These are the illustrations for Против законов времени 1. Gathering the pieces

Addie: 2. His death

Addie: 3. Her death

Addie: 4. Stuck on repeat

Addie: 5. Feelings

Addie: 6. Happy ending

Пионыч: OMG!!!! It's amazing! I cant't even distinguish which one I like the best. All of them, of course, but... maybe... well... Maybe... NO! I JUST UNABLE to make the decision So, with your prmission I'll explane what I like each of them for. 1. Gathering the pieces Definately the composition. All the elements of it are arranged according to the feelngs I described at the very beginning - all the contrast of a bright winter day and the dark gloom in the soul. Ah, and the backgroung - that white mist which surely hides some mistery - 2. His death The blood and the sunshine. And all the universe in one loun shot. That's the story of yours, girl. And you are to blame. I guess this variant of the day is the most tragic - not for Vladimir but for Anna. He's already dead - and she is to live with all that misery... Well, at least for some time... 3. Her death The artistic idea impresses: deep bloody red and the whiteness of the snow - it does give the feeling of close death behind your back. But what else? Maybe the calmness of that very death which follows the horror of yesterday? At least I understand the wall in this way. And I freally like it! 4. Stuck on repeat The colouring! Oh yeah - the colouring wins here. All the rest - the scenes, the plot of the wall, the meaning and composition and the quality of work also are beyond comparison but the colours seem so... right, so proper... I can't say that in words! 5. Feelings The texture. I think you've done that circles with a kind of a brush? Or what? I am not sure - but it's great! I want to use shuch thing too! And the colour. And Anna. And Vova! And their feelings - as tender as a feather! What else is needed for a great wall? 6. Happy ending The groundhog. It's cuuuute! Oh Addie, thank you dear! I couldn't even expect to get such a gift today!

blondy: Addie , I don't know what to say Natasha said it all I'm totally amazed by these walls You really managed to put the whole story in these 6 walls And I love your colouring and textures more and more every day Great work

Addie: Natasha, I have to say I was speechless when I read the comment. For a moment I watched and grinned. I was too happy to say anything. I'm glad you liked them. I don't like all of them, I can find the flaws, but I know I tried my best. Пионыч пишет: All the elements of it are arranged according to the feelngs I described at the very beginning - all the contrast of a bright winter day and the dark gloom in the soul. Ah, and the backgroung - that white mist which surely hides some mistery At first I thought of the whole structure without Anna, but then I added her and it looked more coherent, and it's where the title came from, because she's gathering the pieces of that pot she broke. In the wall, she's gathering and processing the info, until she finally realizes what is happening. It's like a prologue to the story. Пионыч пишет: The blood and the sunshine. And all the universe in one loun shot. That's the story of yours, girl. And you are to blame. To be honest, there is no sunshine there. Sometimes I try to hide errors by texture or coloring, and that's what happened here. If you look well, in the left upper corner Vova isn't holding the gun, because I blended the image over it. But the blood is great, when I saw it I told myself I have to use it. I might have made things more tragic, but in the sequence of images I don't always find the exact ones to portray things the things you describe, so I improvise and make my own versions. Пионыч пишет: I guess this variant of the day is the most tragic - not for Vladimir but for Anna. I guess so. I remember I was reading and suddenly the movie stopped. I was like how did that happen? It was too surprising. For me, the most tragical version was when she died, because Vova couldn't do anything, and she died without him knowing she loved him and she was there for him, not for Misha. It must have been death in pain, both physical and emotional. And again, I didn't see it coming, it surprised me. I'll go on with the comments later.

Addie: Пионыч пишет: Maybe the calmness of that very death which follows the horror of yesterday Yes, the central image of Anna and the crow send one thinking of this. The sequence of feelings is determination, then shock, and the calmness... because nothing can be done anymore until the next day. Пионыч пишет: but the colours seem so... right, so proper... And I don't like them at all. The first version was without the text, but then I re-read the ficlet, and I laughed so hard when Anna snapped at Olga, so I included that for more flavor. But yes, as chromatic palette, I suppose they fit. Пионыч пишет: I think you've done that circles with a kind of a brush? That style of brush is called halftone. You can find it on Deviantart or just browse on Google. Since the lower version of Photoshop, I can't use my old brushes anymore, so I had to work with new ones. Пионыч пишет: The groundhog. It's cuuuute! Yes! I had 2 bases to choose from, but I stopped at that one because it was so cute!

Addie: blondy пишет: I'm totally amazed by these walls Well, me too by some of them. I'm looking and wondering how I made such a thing. blondy пишет: You really managed to put the whole story in these 6 walls That was the point. blondy пишет: And I love your colouring and textures more and more every day I always work a lot on the coloring. As for the textures, I didn't use any. I only blended images and brushes this time.
