Арт с "Гостевой" : Addie Очень интересная работа! Будто кто-то сжигает (может быть случайно - при чтении) старинное письмо на огне свечи - и из прошлого-настоящего-будущего мы видим возникающий образ. Таинственно-неизвестный и близко-знакомый. Спасибо! Это отлично!

Addie: Natasha, thanks for such a comment, now I'm proud too! It was all your merit, your fic inspired me. This wallpaper pretty much made itself on its own. I found everything very easily, and it fitted perfectly. There will be more, as soon as I read your ficlets. I am sorry I can't bring myself to make a proper comment, but instead of writing about my impressions and saying how much I liked a work(because I always like them), I choose to respond through art as well. Words are exhausted, you get comments anyway all the time, but I wanted to make something more special.

Addie: I finished reading "Прах к праху", and here is what I made. I wish I could have made more, I have plenty of inspiration, but I don't have enough time or energy. Natasha, I hope I interpreted well the quote from your story, it was my favourite part, and it really suits me in my personal life too. I've never sympathized so much with Anna.

I had another idea, but I couldn't find the images, so I got a bit frustrated and left it for the next day. And after a long night's sleep, I abandoned that idea, and I came up with another concept, and I matched the images with the train. And afterwards because the right side was empty and I didn't want to put just a texture, but to make the connection between the two time frames, I added the kitten, which took me forever to find. But in the end everything fitted, like pieces of a puzzle. Then, after I finished it, I realized I should have made the 19th century part black and white, but it was too late, and I would have had to make it again. You offer me the opportunity to reinterpret the story, to add elements of your own or of my own. You must have noticed I avoid as a rule making BN walls. The only exception is when it comes to your fics.

I realized the wall wasn't very clear as message, so I found the saving element. And there was that line from Moulin Rouge, which I absolutely love, and it made no sense without that specific image. There was nothing to show that Anna ended up with Vladimir, and not with Alex, and that love was returned. Dmitry is simply too cute to be a villain. Even here he's nice. A bit tacky and naughty, but nice. I looked through lots of pictures to find the right ones. I JUST UNABLE to make the decision So, with your prmission I'll explane what I like each of them for. 1. Gathering the pieces Definately the composition. All the elements of it are arranged according to the feelngs I described at the very beginning - all the contrast of a bright winter day and the dark gloom in the soul. Ah, and the backgroung - that white mist which surely hides some mistery - 2. His death The blood and the sunshine. And all the universe in one loun shot. That's the story of yours, girl. And you are to blame. I guess this variant of the day is the most tragic - not for Vladimir but for Anna. He's already dead - and she is to live with all that misery... Well, at least for some time... 3. Her death The artistic idea impresses: deep bloody red and the whiteness of the snow - it does give the feeling of close death behind your back. But what else? Maybe the calmness of that very death which follows the horror of yesterday? At least I understand the wall in this way. And I freally like it! 4. Stuck on repeat The colouring! Oh yeah - the colouring wins here. All the rest - the scenes, the plot of the wall, the meaning and composition and the quality of work also are beyond comparison but the colours seem so... right, so proper... I can't say that in words! 5. Feelings The texture. I think you've done that circles with a kind of a brush? Or what? I am not sure - but it's great! I want to use shuch thing too! And the colour. And Anna. And Vova! And their feelings - as tender as a feather! What else is needed for a great wall? 6. Happy ending The groundhog. It's cuuuute! Oh Addie, thank you dear! I couldn't even expect to get such a gift today!

I don't like all of them, I can find the flaws, but I know I tried my best. Sometimes I try to hide errors by texture or coloring, and that's what happened here. If you look well, in the left upper corner Vova isn't holding the gun, because I blended the image over it. But the blood is great, when I saw it I told myself I have to use it. I might have made things more tragic, but in the sequence of images I don't always find the exact ones to portray things the things you describe, so I improvise and make my own versions. The flower in Lena's hair is not a rose, it's a poppy. Initially I wanted to place poppies in the grass, but it did not look very well, so I adapted, I used those lovely butterflies instead.
